At this time Conibear Rowing club offers a novice class every two years. The next class is expected to be held in spring of 2011.

There are other ways you can orientate yourself to become a Conibear rower. If you are new to rowing and over 21 years of age you can take a ‘learn to row’ class through another club such as Mt. Baker Rowing and Sailing. Additionally, if you have successfully completed a Rowing II level class through the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department, have received similar training elsewhere or are a previous rower, come work out with us a few times to see how you like our group.

Novice classes for adults are offered by Mt. Baker Rowing and Sailing Center throughout the year. The classes prepare rowers to continue rowing either recreationally or competitively in the adult co-ed rowing program at the Mt. Baker Rowing and Sailing Center, or to join a private rowing club such as Conibear.

For more information, contact the Mt. Baker Rowing and Sailing Center office at 206-386-1913.
